Helping Hand At Delhi
Story Image

Under the divine inspiration of Divya Tapaswi Taporatna Mahodadhi Pujya Acharya Shrimad Vijay Hanshratnasurishwarji Maharaja, the Hari Krishna Foundation organized the Helping Hand Programme in New Delhi. In this impactful event, 21 differently-abled individuals were fitted with LN4 prosthetic hands manufactured in the USA. These hands were provided completely free of cost, enabling the recipients to regain functionality in their daily lives. After the fittings, the foundation conducted practical training sessions to teach beneficiaries how to use their new hands — including writing, holding objects, and performing everyday tasks. The joy on their faces reflected newfound hope, dignity, and independence. The event was graced by Rajya Sabha MP and Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, Shri Veerendra Heggade Ji, whose presence and blessings added spiritual strength to the initiative. His encouragement highlighted the deep connection between service and spirituality. This programme beautifully combined compassion, technology, and training — offering not just artificial limbs, but a fresh start to deserving lives. The Hari Krishna Foundation continues its mission to serve humanity by restoring ability and confidence to those who need it most.
