MoU Signed with Assam Govt for Statewide Mobility Mission
Story Image

Hari Krishna Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Assam, to organize Mobility Mission programmes across the entire state. This collaboration aims to empower differently-abled individuals by providing them with free assistive devices such as prosthetic legs, hands, calipers, wheelchairs, and more. Under this MoU, we have already initiated measurement camps in various districts of Assam, where precise assessments are being conducted by our expert teams to ensure customized fittings. These camps are receiving overwhelming support from local authorities and the community. In the coming weeks, we are preparing to organize the largest-ever distribution camp in Assam, where over 5000 differently-abled individuals will be fitted with artificial limbs and mobility aids at a single location. This historic event will mark a milestone in the mission to restore dignity and independence to those living with physical disabilities. Through this partnership, Hari Krishna Foundation reaffirms its commitment to inclusive development and invites more supporters to join in creating an accessible and equitable society for all.
