Hari-Krishna Foundation, in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Assam, is proud to present the Mobility Mission in Assam, the world’s largest disability empowerment camp. This grand event will be held on 3rd December 2025 in Guwahati, under the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The mission aims to transform the lives of over 5000 beneficiaries by providing modern prosthetic legs, artificial hands, and wheelchairs – completely free of cost. These advanced mobility aids will be tailored to each recipient’s needs, ensuring comfort, durability, and a renewed ability to walk, work, and live with dignity. This programme is not just about distributing devices; it is about restoring independence, confidence, and hope. The scale and organization of the event will make it one of the most remarkable initiatives for persons with disabilities, with medical experts, technicians, and volunteers working together to ensure a smooth and impactful experience for every participant. Beneficiaries will benefit from state-of-the-art prosthetics designed with modern technology, which will allow them to resume their daily routines, engage in employment opportunities, and lead a more self-reliant life. Wheelchairs provided will enhance mobility for those with more complex needs, enabling them to participate fully in social and community life. The event’s grandeur will reflect the mission’s vision of making Assam a Divyangata Mukt (disability-free) state. With thousands gathered, this day will stand as a symbol of compassion, collaboration, and commitment to social welfare.
