Mobility Mission At Assam

    Mobility Mission – World’s Largest Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp is an upcoming humanitarian initiative by Hari Krishna Foundation, organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment (DSJE), Government of Assam, under the guidance and support of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The mega camp will be held in Guwahati, Assam, with the official date to be announced soon. Inspired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision of an inclusive and empowered Assam, this initiative aims to provide artificial limbs, calipers, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and other assistive devices free of cost to persons with disabilities. The programme is dedicated to restoring mobility, dignity, confidence, and independence, enabling beneficiaries to lead more productive and self-reliant lives. With the invaluable support of the Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment (DSJE), Government of Assam, and the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, this mega camp will bring together beneficiaries, rehabilitation experts, healthcare professionals, volunteers, corporate partners, and social organizations on a single platform to deliver comprehensive mobility assistance. Every beneficiary will receive professional assessment, customized device fitting, and rehabilitation guidance to ensure maximum benefit. Envisioned as one of the World’s Largest Artificial Limbs Distribution Camps, the Mobility Mission represents a powerful collaboration between the Government of Assam and Hari Krishna Foundation to transform lives through compassion, innovation, and accessibility. Beyond distributing assistive devices, the initiative seeks to create equal opportunities in education, employment, and social participation for persons with disabilities.
