NAMO76 – Light Beyond Sight is a landmark initiative by Hari Krishna Foundation, organized in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on 17 September 2026 to commemorate the 76th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The event is dedicated to empowering visually impaired individuals through cutting-edge AI technology and promoting an inclusive, accessible society. The highlight of this mega initiative is the distribution of AI Smart Glasses to 760 visually impaired students in a single event, with the objective of setting a World Record. These AI-powered smart glasses are designed to help blind individuals recognize objects, read printed text, identify people, navigate independently, detect obstacles, and perform everyday tasks with greater confidence and dignity through real-time voice assistance. This initiative represents more than the distribution of assistive devices—it is a movement to bridge the gap between disability and opportunity through innovation. By introducing advanced AI technology into the lives of visually impaired beneficiaries, the program aims to enhance education, mobility, employment opportunities, and independent living. The event will bring together beneficiaries, government representatives, corporate partners, social organizations, volunteers, and supporters to celebrate the power of technology in transforming lives. Through this historic world record attempt, Hari Krishna Foundation seeks to showcase India’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and innovation while inspiring similar initiatives across the nation. NAMO76 – Light Beyond Sight is a celebration of service, compassion, and technological empowerment, proving that with the right support, every visually impaired individual can live with confidence, independence, and equal opportunity.
